DEMONSTRATIONS
Mike enjoys both the artistic and production sides of woodturning. His works include natural edge, and colour and embellishment (airbrush, pryography, dremel and carving). Mike turns ambidextrously, so is able to help with left-handed turners; and he often turns seated so can help with those struggling to stand at the lathe.
Mike's goals as a demonstrator are to share knowledge and encourage inspiration amongst woodworkers and get them to try and push the boundaries. He is willing to demonstrate almost anything given appropriate preparation time, and is willing to travel anywhere in NZ as long as there is a reasonable travel allowance. For longer distances, arrangement of more than one demonstration would be appreciated. Please contact us to discuss options.
