Woodturning Courses

These woodturning courses offer an exciting day where you get to explore your creative side in wood.

Honey dipper, foot massager, rolling pin, bowls - you get to take whatever you make home with you as a momento.

WOODTURNING COURSE INFORMATION:

  • Course participants: 3 - 5

  • Minimum age: 18 years (unless by prior vetting)

  • Bookings essential

  • Tea & coffee provided

  • BYO lunch

  • All safety equipment provided

  • Must wear covered footwear

  • Hair must be tied back

  • Camera recommended

Introductory Course - (Max 5 students)

Our 1 day introductory woodturning course is designed to get you on the lathe and teach you the basics of woodturning. The course runs on advertised weekends from 9am to 5pm, or by arrangement.

The course is organised so that each stage is demonstrated first, and then guidance is offered as you proceed. The aim is to make several projects that you can finish ready to take home. There is the option to add embellishment to those pieces at the end, if desired.
